There’s nothing wrong with the classic baby blue and baby pink nursery schemes but if you are searching for something stylish and unique why not try mint green and yellow. It’s a wonderfully fresh colour scheme and is ideal if you are wanting a gender neutral nursery.
In this scheme we’ve used a fabulous Morris & Co lemon print wallpaper which has been paired with Farrow & Ball James White above the picture rail and on the trim. Whimsical, kid-centric framed art prints by Jenny Melihove sit over the fantastic cot bed. The cot bed is part of a Pottery Barn Kids and John Lewis partnership and features clear panels within a white frame, it’s the perfect way to add a sense of contemporary fun to the backdrop of the slightly more traditional looking wallpaper. We’ve carried the acrylic material throughout the scheme via the Kartell light fitting, lamp and chair and the replacement drawer pulls for the chest of drawers from LuxHoldups. Some warmth is brought back in with the footstool from Beanbag Bazaar which also adds a pop of yellow to compliment the wallpaper.
What do you think? Would you try a mint and yellow scheme in your child’s room?
